NEW WORKSHOPS AT THE IOWA STATE FAIR
In honor of Studio Fuzzishu's 4th year at the Iowa State Fair we are introducing four new metal jewelry projects that you can make and take home with you the same day*. Workshops start every half hour or so, daily 9am to 9pm Aug. 11-21 in the Cultural Center.
New Project No.1 - Mixed Metal Stamped Pendant

New Project No.3 - Pooch Tags
Don't forget fido! Here Kismet models a stamped dog tag. She's a big sassy and wanted her tag stamped with her favorite phrase. You can, of course, stamp whatever your dog may be thinking or even contact info should your pooch go on walkabout without you.

New Project No.4 - Annual Fuzzishu Charm
I'm pretty excited about this project. I am introducing an annual 'charm'. Each year I will offer (both in the studio and at fair) a different design for you to make and add to your collection.
Learn how to combine different kinds of metal without the use of soldering. Students will stamp the silver disc with a pattern of their choice and then rivet the copper bar on to it. Charms can be used as keychains, pendants, or added to a charm bracelet.
Charm workshop $30
Charms come with a keychain ring or black cord for wearing.
Silver necklace chains and s.p. steel charm bracelet chains are available for an additional fee.

...your favorite project and mine, the one that started them all, the silver ring! Learn how to stamp, solder, size, file and finish in order to turn a silver blank into a stunning silver ring. Rings workshops take 1-2 hrs depending on the number of students.
